CleverPsych is software for psychologists who run their own practices.
The system enables you to record your clients, appointments,
services, organisations and referring doctors, and has the aim
of
making operations like generating standard letters,
sending reminders, claiming from the government (MEDICARE) and
insurance
companies, and reporting
income, much easier.
The CleverPsych system is developed by the Clever Company; hence the
name. Our directors and employees include a professional software
developer
and his wife, a clinical psychologist, who runs the part of the company
trading as Monaro Psychology Services (MPS) with an office in Queanbeyan,
Australia.
We think that the software would be of
use to other psychologists who run small practices like MPS, so we are
making it available.

If you want to try CleverPsych you can DOWNLOAD version 7.4 of
the system for either Windows or for UNIX
flavours like linux or Mac OS.
Then read the manual in the
c:\cleverpsych\doco folder. This will tell you
everything you need to know (we hope), including:
- How to try out the software using the demonstration database.
- How to set up your own database and environment.
- How to configure the system for your own practice.
We provide limited support via EMail.

Check here
occasionally for new versions of the software. Major releases are
scheduled periodically and updates will be released as necessary to fix
any serious problems. You can view the changes to
the software since the first release.
CleverPsych will run on most computers running Microsoft Windows
(and will theoretically run on any other platform for which Java is
available, like Mac OS and
LINUX).
CleverPsych costs around about the fee recommended by the Australian
Psychological Society for a one hour consultation, but you can try it
out and use it for quite a while before you have to pay. Follow this link for details of the licence and price. MEDICARE Australia
places restrictions on the use of their software, so you have to purchase it as an additional bundle.

ourselves, so do our best to ensure that it works correctly.
